Acknowledgement¶
Acknowledgement is a data-transfer object in the SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal.LegalApi component grouping of SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal. It represents a single claimant/case acknowledgement record — the confirmation that a legal request (an OAR/hearing-related request identified by RequestDate) has been received for a given claim — returned to LegalApi callers as an item in an AcknowledgementData response.*
Purpose¶
- Carries the identifying and descriptive fields (claim, claimant, WCB/claim numbers, worker SSN, issues, request date) needed to display or confirm a single legal acknowledgement to an external API consumer.*
Context¶
- Namespace:
SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal.LegalApi - Assembly/package:
SAIF.Business.Claim.Legal

Constraints and usage notes¶
- Used as the element type of
AcknowledgementData.Data; always returned wrapped with aStatusCode.*
Note: Statements marked with
*were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts. Statements marked with**could not be confirmed; treat as unknown until verified.
