iPeriodRatingInfo

Defines the core rating-period values that rating logic can compare across policy periods, including anniversary and rating dates, extension flags, coverage window, market type, and the rate-tier code that identifies the rating context.

Purpose

  • Provide a shared contract for period-level rating inputs.
  • Support equality and helper logic through a stable set of rating dates, flags, and classification values.
  • Let multiple policy-period shapes participate in the same rating comparison helpers.

Context

  • Namespace: SAIF.Business.Policy
  • Assembly/package: SAIF.Business.Policy

Behavioral notes

  • The interface inherits IEquatable(Of iPeriodRatingInfo), and the companion PeriodRatingInfoExtensions module supplies common equality/hash logic for the shared fields.

Constraints and usage notes

  • Implementations should keep their equality semantics aligned with BaseEquals and BaseGetHashCode when they rely on the extension helpers.
