Determine whether the information page was printed¶
Checks whether the policy's information page (endorsement code P401) has been printed for a given policy period.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Operation ID | OP-POL-008 |
| Trigger | Caller reads PolicyInformation.IsInformationPagePrinted(inDPI, inPolicyNumber, inPolicyPeriodEffectiveDate) |
| Inputs | Data portal info, policy number, policy-period effective date |
| Outputs | Boolean |
| Primary components | PolicyInformation.IsInformationPagePrinted |
| Entry point | SAIF.Business.Policy\PolicyInformation.vb |
Steps¶
- Caller reads
PolicyInformation.IsInformationPagePrinted(inDPI, inPolicyNumber, inPolicyPeriodEffectiveDate). - Inline scalar SQL (SQL-007) is executed against ENDORSEMENT, filtered by policy number, period effective date,
ENDORSE_CODE = 'P401', andPRINTED_DATE IS NOT NULL. - Result is compared to the input policy number to derive a boolean.
- Consumed by
PolicyInformationTester.Test_GetLossHistoryListin the sibling Tests project as a functional check.*

Failure and edge-case behavior¶
- No
DBNull/Nothingguard behavior confirmed for the no-match case.**
