clsWorkerInjuredBodyPart¶
clsWorkerInjuredBodyPart owns a single injured body-part row for a claim and propagates the primary body part, side, and injury nature to the parent CL_INJURY_CLAIM record whenever the object is dirty and marked primary (see Injured body-part maintenance).
Purpose¶
- Provides create/update/delete of injured body-part rows (SQL-008, SQL-050, SQL-062).
- Propagates or clears the primary body part on
CL_INJURY_CLAIMviaUpdateClaimBodyPart(SQL-051).
Context¶
- Namespace:
SAIF.Business.Claim - Assembly/package:
SAIF.Business.Claim.dll
Public members¶
| Member | Signature | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
UpdateClaimBodyPart |
Public Function UpdateClaimBodyPart(Optional inClearFields As Boolean = False) As Boolean |
Propagates the primary body part/side/injury nature to CL_INJURY_CLAIM when the object is dirty and IsPrimary; when inClearFields is True, resets those fields to zero/space instead (SQL-051). |
IsPrimary |
Public Property IsPrimary As Boolean |
Indicates whether this body part is the claim's primary injured body part, gating propagation in UpdateClaimBodyPart. |
Criteria.CreateSQL |
ReadOnly Property CreateSQL As String |
Returns String.Empty rather than throwing, unlike other unsupported criteria properties in this library.* |
Criteria.RetrieveSQL |
ReadOnly Property RetrieveSQL As String |
Returns String.Empty rather than throwing; retrieval of injured body parts is performed through clsWorkerInjuredBodyPartCollection instead.* |
Behavioral notes¶
- DB-contention errors are raised via
After*hooks on insert/update/delete (BR-012).
Constraints and usage notes¶
- Use
clsWorkerInjuredBodyPartCollectionfor retrieval and for enforcing single-primary rules across a claim's body parts.
Note: Statements marked with * were inferred from code structure, naming conventions, or contextual evidence where direct confirmation was not available in source artifacts. Statements marked with ** could not be confirmed; treat as unknown until verified.
