iAdjustedRateFactor¶
iAdjustedRateFactor declares the contract for computing a multiplicative rate-adjustment factor for a given iAdjustedRateProvider. It embeds the neutrality rule for non-applicable factors (BR-POL-011) in its remarks, though enforcement is left to implementers.
Purpose¶
- Standardize how an adjusted-rate factor is computed from a provider's rating attributes, so multiple rate-adjustment implementations can be composed uniformly.
- Document the neutrality expectation that a non-applicable factor must be
1, not0, so cumulative multiplication is unaffected (BR-POL-011).

Computes the adjustment factor for the given provider; implementers must return AdjustedRates.NonApplicableAdjustedRateFactor (1) when the factor does not apply (BR-POL-011). |
Behavioral notes¶
- No in-repo implementer of
iAdjustedRateFactorwas found; implementations live in consuming applications.**
Constraints and usage notes¶
- This is a declaration-only contract; enforcement of the neutrality rule (BR-POL-011) is the implementer's responsibility.
Note: Statements marked with ** could not be confirmed; treat as unknown until verified.
