Parameters¶
| Parameter | Direction | Type | Max length | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|
:PolicyNumber |
Input | Decimal (Oracle NUMBER) |
N/A | Policy number of the endorsement being checked. |
:PolicyPeriodEffectiveDate |
Input | Date (Oracle DATE) |
N/A | Policy period effective date of the endorsement being checked. |
Tables¶
| Table | Access | Columns used |
|---|---|---|
| ENDORSEMENT | SELECT | POLICY_NUM, POLICY_PERIOD_EFF_DATE, ENDORSE_CODE, PRINTED_DATE |
Sample SQL¶
SELECT
policy_num
FROM endorsement
WHERE policy_num = :PolicyNumber
AND policy_period_eff_date = :PolicyPeriodEffectiveDate
AND endorse_code = 'P401'
AND printed_date IS NOT NULL
The returned policy_num is coerced with CDec(...) without a null guard; a no-row result raises a conversion error rather than returning False.*
