Load claim displayconfidentiality fields

Executes the PK82284_CLAIM_TASK.SELECT_ADDITIONAL_FIELDS stored procedure directly via IDataRequest, bypassing the standard Before/After lifecycle, to populate display and confidentiality fields for list-retrieved claim tasks.

Field Value
Operation ID OP-4
Trigger List path of Enrich a loaded claim task
Inputs ClaimId
Outputs Nine InputOutput parameter values and derived confidentiality flags
Primary components clsClaimTask.GetExtraFields
Entry point SAIF.Business.Tasks.Claim/clsClaimTask.vb

Steps

  1. Create a portal request and data request from MyCriteria.DataPortalInfo.
  2. Bind ClaimId (input) and nine InputOutput parameters: ClaimNum (7), SAIFClaimNum (8), WorkerName (100), PolicyName (100), WorkStatus (100), conflictFlag (5), exposureCode (5), healthIssue (5), hostileWrkr (5).
  3. Execute DataPortalInfo.ProcessPortalRequest(PortalRequest) (SQL-001).
  4. Read parameter values back into member state and derive flags: IsWorkerConflict = conflictFlag = "Y"; IsExposure = exposureCode <> "0"; IsHealthIssue = healthIssue = "Y"; IsHostileWrkr = hostileWrkr <> clsConstants.Space (feeds BR-MY-01).
  5. On failure: no result-count or error handling exists; the procedure body is not in this repository, so the failure behavior when the claim does not exist is unknown.**

Process flow

    Start([GetExtraFields called]) --> Bind["Bind ClaimId input and 9
InputOutput params"]
    Bind --> Exec[ProcessPortalRequest executes
PK82284_CLAIM_TASK.SELECT_ADDITIONAL_FIELDS]
    Exec --> Read[Read parameter values back]
    Read --> Derive[Derive confidentiality flags]
    Derive --> EndOk([Fields populated on task])

Failure and edge-case behavior

  • No row-count or error check exists in this method; the procedure body is opaque (not present in this repository).**
