clsDCBSCostCharge

clsDCBSCostCharge represents one cost-to-charge conversion factor for a provider location from PROVIDER_DCBS_COST_CHARGE, carrying an effective/expiration date window. Unlike the portal/criteria types in this library it is a plain data-holder object — it is not itself an IBusinessCriteria implementer — and is always constructed and populated by clsDCBSCostChargeList's direct-query load.

Purpose

  • Provides the date-windowed cost-charge factor consumed to convert DCBS billed charges to reimbursable costs for a location.
  • Determines whether the factor is currently in effect using the shared date-window evaluation pattern applied uniformly across dated records in this library (BR-DATE-001).

  • Read-only data holder; not a BOF business object and carries no rule-engine validation or persistence surface.*
  • Always obtained via clsProviderLocation.DCBSCostCharges or a direct clsDCBSCostChargeList construction, never individually.
