SAIFCheckBox

A checkbox that can render as a static, read-only image instead of an interactive input, letting pages show a checked/unchecked state without allowing edits BR-V2-024.

Purpose

  • Persists its ReadOnly state per control instance in ViewState so it survives postback BR-V2-021.
  • Renders as its stock base-class checkbox when not read-only, and as a static checked/unchecked image when read-only BR-V2-024.

Behavioral notes

  • The real interactive input is kept off-screen rather than removed, when in read-only mode BR-V2-023.
