N3Segment

N3Segment models the X12 N3 party-location segment, used immediately after an N1Segment in 837/835 transactions to carry a party's street address lines.

Purpose

  • Represents the N3 segment identity via SegmentId returning the literal "N3" (BR-020).
  • Carries AddressLine1 and AddressLine2, the two street-address lines associated with the preceding N1Segment party.

SegmentId string SegmentId { get; } Returns the literal X12 segment identifier "N3".
AddressLine1 string AddressLine1 { get; set; } The party's primary street-address line (N301), element 1.
AddressLine2 string AddressLine2 { get; set; } The party's secondary street-address line (N302), element 2.
Build IEdiSegment Build() Creates a SegmentBuilder("N3") and adds AddressLine1 and AddressLine2 at elements 1-2, returning the built segment.
Fill void Fill(IEdiSegment segment) Reads elements 1-2 via GetChildValue into AddressLine1 and AddressLine2.
Parse static N3Segment Parse(IEdiSegment segment) Instantiates a new N3Segment, calls Fill(segment) on it, and returns it.
