This page captures business rules enforced by this library. Both rules are output-formatting rules enforced purely inside clsImageImport.ToString(); neither performs validation, throws, or blocks construction/use of the object — they only affect the serialized text representation.
BR-IMG-001 Blank out unset date values in serialized output¶
Field
Value
Statement
When serializing DocumentDate, ReceivedDate, or TaskDate via ToString(), if the date value equals Date.MinValue or Date.MaxValue (the unset/sentinel state), the emitted line has an empty value rather than a formatted date.
Trigger
Call to clsImageImport.ToString() on an instance whose date property was never explicitly set (or explicitly set to a sentinel value).
Enforcement
clsImageImport.ToString(), three duplicated If <PropertyName> > Date.MinValue And <PropertyName> < Date.MaxValue conditional blocks, one each for DocumentDate, ReceivedDate, and TaskDate.
Outcome
Downstream consumers of the serialized text (e.g., an OnBase import control file) receive a blank value for DocumentDate=/ReceivedDate=/TaskDate= instead of a placeholder date string.

BR-IMG-002 Blank out non-positive numeric defaults in serialized output¶
Field
Value
Statement
When serializing DocumentDateDays, ImageSeqNum, NPages, PolicyNum, AffiliationId, or LegalCaseId via ToString(), if the value is not greater than 0, the emitted line has an empty value rather than the numeric default.
Trigger
Call to clsImageImport.ToString() on an instance whose numeric identity/count property is at its zero/unset default.
Enforcement
clsImageImport.ToString(), six duplicated If <PropertyName> > 0 conditional blocks, one each for DocumentDateDays, ImageSeqNum, NPages, PolicyNum, AffiliationId, and LegalCaseId.
Outcome
Downstream consumers receive a blank field rather than a misleading 0 for identifiers/counts that have not been assigned (e.g., an unassigned PolicyNum or LegalCaseId).
No other conditional or validation logic exists in the class (e.g., no rules govern ClaimID, AgencyID, ProducerID, or the OnBase*/legal-case flag properties beyond straight pass-through serialization).
No stored-procedure-sourced rules apply to this library.
