Creates a copy of a task for the same claim and reassigns it to a new user.

Steps

  1. Create a new task for the same ClaimID via the type's NewTask factory.

Origin: This step invokes Create a claim task (or the equivalent Coverage B creation flow). 2. Call the inherited CopyTask(target) to copy common task state.

Origin: CopyTask is implemented in SAIF.Business.Tasks. 3. Assign the new MailID and return the copy as iTask.

Origin: Step 3 invokes Assign or change the task owner and its rules.

Failure and edge-case behavior

  • Assignee validation failures on the copy behave identically to a normal assignment (BR-CT-03).
